Daily Mirror sports writer John Cross is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon - and he wants you to join him!

John covers football for the Daily Mirror, writes a regular column and is a regular on Twitter. But his love of sport doesn’t stop at football. John enjoys running even if he is better at raising money than breaking world records.

John is a keen supporter of Leonard Cheshire Disability and believes running for charity is one of the biggest motivators for any fun runner.

John CrossNow he is offering you the chance to join him and help. Sign up for the Royal Parks Half Marathon below and get money off your entry, enjoy one of the best runs in the country and raise money for a great cause.

John says: ‘Leonard Cheshire Disability is a great cause to run for; they go that extra mile every day to give disabled people more opportunities in life. And they are not only making a difference at home here in the UK but in many countries around the world. So join me in running the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October and the funds you raise will help them provide the best care and opportunities possible for disabled people in your local community and around the world.”
