North Face Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc
Britain's Lizzy Hawker attempts to win her fifth title at this ultra-distance mountain race, which tours the Mont Blanc massif on a 104-mile course.
This classic event attracts 6000 competitors to Chamonix, for a festival of mountain running that takes in spectacular alpine scenery and attracts massive support from the fans they pass along the way.
The programme features in-depth interviews with Hawker and some of Europe's finest mountain runners, providing insights into their racing tactics and motivation.
