Video interview: Haile Gebrselassie explains why the new adidas BOOST is a great advantage, not just for elite runners
Is it legal is the question that Haile Gebrselassie asked at the launch of the adidas energy boost. The comment was made tonge in cheek (well i think so) but their is no doubt that Haile believes this shoe is different. Haile also said when he first tried the shoe on his first thought was that he could break a world record. The last time Haile thought that he ran 2:03:59 at the Berlin marathon - Chatting with some adidas employes who were there that day, the shoe was the adidas adios 1 and in 2008 that was adidas' breakthrough shoe. Haile put the shoes on in the lobby of the hotel, jumped up and down in them and said they were good and then went out and ran, the rest is history.
