Athlete news: Anton Kupricka to run The North Face ® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc ® 2013
The North Face ® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc ® (UTMB) is a major date in the calendar for Original BUFF®s trail running team, covering some 168km and around 9600m of elevation. And as part of their team, the Spanish
brand have entered American ultra runner, Anton Kupricka for the 2013 Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc.

In Anton’s words, “I’ve been undecided about which 100 miler I wanted to do this year, but the BUFF® offer and their support makes UTMB the obvious choice. I really appreciate it and am really excited to race in such a legendary event and maybe, hopefully, finally break Europe’s dominance of the race!!
The charismatic and powerful American runner will undoubtedly be one of the event's main attractions. It will also be Krupicka’s first time running in this event and, as he says himself, he is very pleased with the opportunity BUFF® has given him.
In addition to Anton, Original BUFF®s Ultra-Trail team in UTMB will comprise; on the women's team, the recent world champion Nuria Picas will also be running in her first UTMB and Emma Roca, who came in third in last year’s race, will behoping her 2012 experience will make her stronger than ever.
For the men, Gerard Morales will be running alongside Kupricka and Arnau Julià, who’s taken part in 3 previous UTMB races will run the approx 119km TDS (Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie) a highly technical challenge that runs alongside the UTMB event.
