Race news: Junior Miles of the North challenge - Saturday, April 27, 2013
Our Junior event was a great success last year. This year we want to see more young runners taking on the Junior Miles of the North challenge on Saturday 27th April 2013 at 1600hrs.
Junior Miles of the North are a series of one mile age group races for 9-15 year olds. All races take place in Mowbray Park, Sunderland. All runners will receive a great goody bag, including a finisher medal and t-shirt.
The Asda Pasty Party in the Park follows the junior races. Entry into the pasta party is free for all the weekend participants. It’s a great way to celebrate the success of the junior miles and prepare the Sunday runners for their challenge the next day. Family & friends can join in with the fun at the Pasta Party for a small fee of £3.
