Product news: Marie Bean has just written a book on running called Lazy Runner - Lazy Runner is the fun, easy way to get into running and stay fit
The book has been launched across Australia over the past three months, along with Lazy Runner Running Workshops. The workshops teach people how to run or how to improve their running efficiency and technique and have been a huge success and sell outs across the country.
In June and July Marie Bean will be conducting running workshops in London and bookings being taken (www.lazyrunner.com/london-running-workshops).
The just released Lazy Runner book covers all aspects of running and also contains some funny running stories and over 50 running statistics.
Marie Bean is the original Lazy Runner; she has been a runner for 25 years and has coached runners for the past seven years. She has completed 12 marathons and last year at the grand age of 50 she started running ultra-marathons.
However, her biggest claim to fame is that for all those years of running races, not to mention the thousands of miles of training, she has never had an injury...not one.
It's an amazing record and she puts it down to her 'Lazy Runner' attitude...she runs for fun, health and fitness; injury and pain does not fit her lazy running philosophy
As a running coach she has answered countless questions from runners across Australia and the world ... she threw her hands in the air and thought that’s it ... ’I need to write a book on how to run the Lazy Runner way’.
The Lazy Runner book has all her tricks and tips on running as well as lots of funny running stories and crazy running statistics.
Marie Bean has been coaching runners for 7 years through her Lazy Runner clubs; there are now 10 across Australia. On a personal level, Marie is near the end of her quest to run a marathon on all continents, 6 down, and one to go. The biggie Antarctica!
Marie is taking the Lazy word on running to the UK, with running workshops for beginner runners to experienced runners scheduled for June and July. The workshops teach people who have never run a step in their lives, how to run. There is also a workshop for runners who would like to improve their running efficiency and technique
