Vita Coco joins Run to the Beat powered by Nike+ as the official hydration partner for 2013

Run to the Beat powered by Nike+, London’s only music half marathon, today announced an exciting two year partnership with Vita Coco Coconut Water as the Official Hydration Partner.

The event, which hits London on September 8th, is delighted to be offering runners on the 13.1 mile course a natural alternative to sports hydration. The 100% natural coconut water drink contains naturally occurring electrolytes and is high in potassium, making it the ideal hydration for runners.

The 2013 event brings exciting new changes to the unique half marathon course as it now starts and finishes in the scenic grounds of Greenwich Park, adding to the music festival atmosphere for runners and spectators alike. DJ stages will be set-up at key points along the course to keep runners motivated all the way to the finish. In previous years, acts have included DJ Fresh, Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah, plus some of the hottest talent on the UK DJ scene. The music line-up for this year’s event will be announced via the event’s official website. .

This year’s Run to the Beat powered by Nike+ is set to be bigger and better with an increased capacity for up-to 19,000 runners. To register for this event, visit www.runtothebeat.co.uk.
