In this edition of London Chat Annie Emmerson chats to Iwan Thomas. Iwan, although now retired from track racing, still holds the UK record for 400m, with a time of 44.36 seconds.
Since then he has run a number marathons and was looking to set a PB here at the 2013 Virgin London Marathon. We spoke to Iwan about his training and expectations for race day.
Iwan's race didn't go to plan however and he suffered stomach problems from mile 19. He is looking to run another marathon later in the year.
