Event preview: Running Show - Sandown Park, November 23 & 24, 2013

The annual Running Show is finally upon us. This weekend running enthusiasts, experts and more than 100 running brands ranging from nutrition to gadgets will gather at Sandown Park, Esher.

There is something for everyone at the show, whether you’re training for the 2014 London Marathon or looking to take part in a 5k.

The show itself is essentially broken down into four parts, with the core of the show based around the large number of top brands and companies exhibiting at Sandown Park. There’s plenty to entice the senses, with everything from kit, to shoes, to events, to nutrition, and much, much more. Expect new products, discounts, tasters … what more do you need.

If that is not enough, there’s a packed seminar program running on both days with everything from Q&A’s with former international runner Martin Yelling, former international runner and coach of Liz Yelling, to panel discussions with Runner’s World, to how to prepare for a marathon sessions with The Jog Shop Experts.

Alongside the exhibitions and seminars, you can get involved in several workshops and clinics. There’s free nutrition consultations with nutrition expert, Joel Enoch; Chi Running, Barefoot and Yoga for Runners workshops; a sports science advice clinic with the Surrey Human Performance Institute where you can undergo several different physiological tests including VO2 Max and sweat tests; and also a running technique workshop with The Running School.
