Product news: Fit Brands - running watch brand Soleus’ UK distributor - signed a partnership agreement with the Southern Men’s League, which sees a number of initiatives designed to support the league and its athletes

The Southern Men’s League
The Southern Men's League is the area track and field league for clubs in the SEAA region who wish to compete in male only competition and is open to athletes from U17 upwards.
The League was founded in 1968 and is organized into three geographically based divisions.
With a league season of four matches in May to July the Top two teams from each of the three Divisions go through to a six team final in early August.

As part of the deal, Fit Brands will be providing administrative and financial support to the league, which comprises of 22 clubs. Members of the Fit Brands team will attend one meeting in each of the three divisions and the PlayOff Final on August 2, 2014. At these designated meets, athletes will have the opportunity to trial Soleus products at the Soleus tent, located next to the track and gain expert guidance from the experienced team.
Over the sponsorship period, Fit Brands will be contributing a substantial prize pot of products. At each match, a Soleus Ultra Sole watch will be awarded to the Athlete of the Match and Fit Brands will also donate Balega Pro-Pacer socks as runner-up and spot prizes. At the PlayOff Final, a top of the range Soleus GPS Tour will be presented to the ‘Overall Athlete of the season’ and an Ultra Sole watch will be donated to the athlete deemed to have made the ‘Best Club Contribution’ for the season. Clubs will nominate athletes for this title and a joint committee will evaluate it.
The Southern Men’s League has had its logo redesigned and a dedicated twitter account will be activated allowing all participants in the Soleus Southern Men’s League to interact on the social media platform. Direct links and web banners will also sit on both the Fit Brands and Soleus Southern Men’s League websites.
The first meet of the season will take place on May 3, 2014 in Guildford for Division 1 West; Wimbledon for Division 1 Central and Lee Valley for Division 1 East. There are 12 matches across the three divisions through the season, with a Final on August 2, 2014 at Eton.
