Race news: Vitality Reading Half marathon - March 22, 2015
The Vitality Reading Half Marathon, taking place on 22 March 2015, is now open for entry! Lace up those trainers and sign up today for one of the most prestigious half marathons in the race calendar. Come race day runners will leave Green Park and run through the beautiful grounds of Reading University to a momentous finish inside Reading Football Club’s 25,000 seater Madejski Stadium.
In her role as Vitality Ambassador for PruHealth and PruProtect, title sponsors of the Series, Jessica Ennis-Hill launched the Vitality Run Series last month, a major new series of eight events, which includes the Vitality Reading Half Marathon. Featuring seven of the UK’s most prestigious half marathons and one 10k event during 2014/15, the Vitality Run Series will help to establish the Vitality Reading Half Marathon as one of the country’s headline running events.
As one of the biggest regional mass participation events in the UK, the Vitality Reading Half Marathon attracts seasoned distance runners and thousands of newcomers to the running community. Nick Pearson, Race Director for the Vitality Reading Half Marathon, added: “People travel far and wide to be a part of our event.
