Race feature: The Bupa Great South Run returns to Southsea and Portsmouth - Sunday October 26, 2014
The 25th staging of the world’s leading 10 mile running event features a fast and flat course steeped in history dating as far back as 1212.
Runners of all abilities will pass naval landmarks and cathedrals, and are also granted permission to run through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory - Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship which achieved lasting fame in Britain's greatest naval victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
A guide to the Bupa Great South Run course has been released by organisers Nova International, presented by Kris Temple, and is available to use on your website or social media.
