Race news: The Color Run UK - Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London - Sunday, September 28, 2014

There’s just one week to go till runners of all ages, shapes and sizes will take on The Color Run presented by Dulux when the event comes to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
After a colour crazy summer touring the country, starting at Wembley in July, the event will return to the capital for the biggest, boldest colour party yet.
At each kilometre of the course coloured powder will cover runners in kaleidoscopic fashion as they pass the iconic Olympic and Paralympic Games venues, before DJs entertain the crowd in the Color Festival Area at the finish line.
Known as the happiest 5k on the planet, The Color Run is an un-timed celebration of health and colour, meaning groups of friends can walk, jog, dance and party their way along the course at any pace.
The Color Run is a celebration of happiness, healthiness, friendship and community spirit. More than 170 events are now organised by The Color Run each year across the world.
General entries will close on Sunday 21st September at midnight. From then on entry will be £30 with a mandatory race pack pick up on Saturday September 27th at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 2-5pm.
