Sure Run to the Beat - Wembley Park, Sunday, September13, 2015

Entries for Sure Run to the Beat are selling fast as running fanatics and fitness newbies from across the country have been snapping up their places for London’s most exciting 10K running event.

Inspirational sporting role models, greater health awareness and a hunger for improved wellbeing is driving the fitness movement to skyrocket in the UK, and the nation’s appetite for innovative, fun events like Sure Run to the Beat is ever increasing.

As London’s only music focused 10K event, Sure Run to the Beat is a celebration of running and fitness with its festival vibes and incredible atmosphere making it a race to remember.

The unique event starts and finishes at Wembley Park, home to one of London’s most iconic sporting venues, where DJs play live music sets at strategically placed points along the course, keeping runners pumped as they pound the city’s pavements.

As they cross the finish line 12,500 runners, of all fitness levels, will be treated to an epic after party, in the Festival Village, with performances from top headline acts to celebrate in style. Sigma, Tom Parker and Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw got the crowds going at the 2014 event, whilst Jessie J, Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh and Tinie Tempah have graced the Run to the Beat stages in previous years.

Music acts for the 2015 event will be announced in due course, but it’s already shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. Participants are advised to head to www.runtothebeat.co.uk to secure their place now.

James Robinson, Managing Director of IMG Challenger World, the event organisers, said: “Sure Run to the Beat is an incredible event that continues to grow year after year. The concept is simple yet undeniably effective; we motivate people to achieve their running goal through one collaborative passion – music. With runners securing entries as fast as they are, 2015 is on track to be our biggest event yet.”

Sure is the official title sponsor of the event. Sure wants runners to go out and set themselves goals, committing to give their best while pursuing their passions. With its unique patented motionSENSE™ technology, Sure responds directly to body movement, the harder your work the harder Sure works, helping runners stay fresh through the race.

Sure commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be part of Sure Run to the Beat, it is a fantastic event that really challenges people to get out, be active and achieve their goals. This is an event for everyone, whether it be to try something new, race the clock or run with friends. It inspires people to get moving and have fun! This year we will be working hard with the event organisers to ensure it is even bigger and better than in 2014- look forward to seeing you there!”

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the official charity partner for the 7th year in a row.  Last year was one of the most successful running events in the charity’s recent history with over 1,000 participants collectively raising more than £150,000 to invest in improving the lives of blood cancers patients across the UK.
