Race news: Sure Run to the Beat - Wembley Park, Sunday, September13, 2015

Entries for Sure Run to the Beat are selling fast as running fanatics and fitness newbies from across the country have been snapping up their places for London’s most exciting 10K running event.
Inspirational sporting role models, greater health awareness and a hunger for improved wellbeing is driving the fitness movement to skyrocket in the UK, and the nation’s appetite for innovative, fun events like Sure Run to the Beat is ever increasing.
As London’s only music focused 10K event, Sure Run to the Beat is a celebration of running and fitness with its festival vibes and incredible atmosphere making it a race to remember.
The unique event starts and finishes at Wembley Park, home to one of London’s most iconic sporting venues, where DJs play live music sets at strategically placed points along the course, keeping runners pumped as they pound the city’s pavements.
As they cross the finish line 12,500 runners, of all fitness levels, will be treated to an epic after party, in the Festival Village, with performances from top headline acts to celebrate in style. Sigma, Tom Parker and Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw got the crowds going at the 2014 event, whilst Jessie J, Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh and Tinie Tempah have graced the Run to the Beat stages in previous years.
Music acts for the 2015 event will be announced in due course, but it’s already shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. Participants are advised to head to www.runtothebeat.co.uk to secure their place now.
