UK sport event specialists, Always Aim High Events, have today announced that their Scott Snowdonia Trail Marathon is very close to selling out. There are now fewer than 100 places up for grabs for what is arguably the UK’s toughest trail marathon and you can pick one up here.

The entries have been flying in over the last few weeks, so much so that Always Aim High Events Director, Tim Lloyd expects the event to sell out by as near as the end of March.  “The Scott Snowdonia Trail Marathon is a new event for us and we are ecstatic with the response we have received! The entries are absolutely flooding in at the moment so if you want to enter this race then make sure you sign up as soon as possible to avoid missing out.”

The event, takes place on Sunday 26th July, includes both a full distance marathon and a half marathon, making it the perfect target race for runners of all abilities. The routes are as beautiful as they are challenging. Both the marathon and half marathon start and finish in Wales’ adventure capital Llanberis, North Wales. From here the runners will leave the Event Village to take in either 26.2 or 13.1 miles of the most iconic and spectacular trails Snowdonia National Park has to offer.

Always Aim High Events Manager Rob Samuel has expressed how pleased he is with the level of interest the event has received: “The event is on the verge of selling out and that’s just fantastic. When we designed this route we knew it had the potential to be popular because it features so many iconic trails, mountains (including Wales biggest peak, Snowdon) and views, but we never expected anything like this!

"The field looks like it will easily hit its year one limit of 750, which is amazing considering how far away from race-day we are.  From the high level of demand we are experiencing we fully expect the race to grow and grow over the next couple of years and establish itself one of the “must do” running events in the UK”.

As well as a fantastic day of racing, Always Aim High Events have promised there will be masses to see and do to keep the spectators entertained. Rob Samuel added: “The Event Village will be awash with live music, a wide range of activities and loads of kids entertainment too. Above all you're guaranteed an incredibly warm welcome from the local Welsh communities!

"So if you’re taking part in the Scott Snowdonia Trial Marathon or live in the local area then make sure you bring the family down to Llanberis on Sunday 26th July, for what is going to be one of the best racing weekends in the 2015 calendar."
