The official charity for the Virgin Money London Marathon 2015 is Cancer Research UK who have the vision to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured
The London Marathon has long been known for more than the speedy elite. A huge number of participant are motivated by raising funds for a charity close to their hearts.
The official charity for 2015 has a well established relationship with the world of running, through Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, a series of 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy, Half Marathon and Marathon events. It is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK - raising funds to help beat cancer.
The army of runners who will be supporting the charity at London on April 26 will be raising invaluable funds to help Cancer Research UK to fulfil their vision of bringing forward the day when all cancers are cured.
