Did you know that 56% of triathletes come from a running background? If you've considered doing a triathlon you are in good company!

It's one of the biggest weeks of the year in the running calendar and run247.com is bringing you the latest and greatest direct from the Virgin Money London Marathon via our live coverage.

With such growth in the running market recently we also wanted to highlight the cross over rates to a similar yet potentially more intimidating sport of triathlon and we're not alone; the Triathlon Industry Association are in attendance at this week's London Marathon EXPO offering their advice and answering any questions about the sport. If you get chance we'd recommend getting down to see them at stand 600.

The EXPO, based at London's ExCeL is free to attend, and runs from Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th April. Check out the opening times and details HERE

For those unable to make it down to the EXPO we don't want you to miss out so have provided a copy of the TIA Magazine available below via eMag or PDF download.

The magazine includes a Q&A with the Brownlee brothers - and amongs the advice we ask them whether we'll see them running the London Marathon in the future...

WIN

If you are tempted by a triathlon in 2015 don't miss out on our fantastic competition on tri247.com (HERE) where you can win a place to the London Triathlon, the world's largest! What better way to finish your athletic year than trying a new sport & doing so at an event thats perfect for first timers.
