Billed as London’s only music 10K running event, Sure Run to the Beat takes place on Sunday 13th September at Wembley Park. This year, DJ & Presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford has confirmed her place at the start line and is encouraging other keen runners with a passion for music to secure their place alongside her.

Sarah-Jane kick started the build-up to Sure Run to the Beat with an incredible DJ set at a launch night at London’s Mahiki, in June. A night of fitness, music and fun – the launch marked the start of training for the 10K event, with a silent disco run and core workout session from Paola’s Body Barre.

Currently the leading lady of BBC Radio 1 Extra, the TV & Radio Presenter, who has passion for exercise and running, will be joining thousands of other fitness enthusiasts as they take on the epic event.

Of the event Sarah-Jane commented: “I’m super excited to be taking part in Sure Run to the Beat, it sounds like it’s going to be loads of fun. Getting to listen to some great live music, whilst running – what’s not to like! I’m looking forward to enjoying the day with thousands of other fun-loving runners, bring it on!”

The run starts and finishes at Wembley Park, home to one of London’s most iconic sporting venues, with music positioned throughout the route to keep runners motivated as they pound the city’s pavements.

Updated for this year, runners will be treated to a whole new music experience, with four high intensity music zones. Keeping runners pumped as they make their way around the course, each of the four zones will feature its own unique theme and Live DJ.

To celebrate the day’s achievements and to round off the summer in true Sure Run to the Beat style, headline acts will provide an epic after party atmosphere at the Festival Finish. With DJ announcements to be made soon; incredible music, a pumping beat and summer vibes are guaranteed to provide a running experience like no other.

Sarah-Jane and thousands of other runners, of all fitness levels and running abilities, are set to participate in the 10k event taking place on Sunday 13th September 2015.
