Race news: Cheltenham’s Half Marathon - Sunday, September 27, 2015

GO2, organisers of Cheltenham’s Half Marathon, sponsored by Whole Foods Market, are reminding runners that they only have until midnight on Tuesday 1st September to bag a place in this year’s popular event, taking place on Sunday 27th September 2015.

Jamie Warren, Head of Marketing and Commercial at GO2, said: "We often see a peak in entries during the lead up to entries closing, as many people often have the date earmarked as a target to aim for. To avoid any disappointment, we would urge all those interested in the race to sign up ahead of the 1st September deadline, particularly as this years event has seen a phenomenal growth in interest, and there is every possibility of selling out before. Runners can still commit to charity spaces after this date, however we cannot accept any more standard or club entries.

“We have extremely high exceptions that the 2015 race is set to be one of the most memorable running events the city of Cheltenham has ever hosted. There is still time to take on the challenge, and be part of something really special!”

Participants will be treated to all that this beautiful regency town has to offer, taking them along the broad, tree-lined avenues and captivating scenery. The course combines regency splendour with bags of Cotswold charm! The 13.1 mile journey will start and finish next to Pittville Park, taking in the sights of the tree-lined Promenade towards Montpellier, and the broad, flat streets of Lansdown Road.

Affiliated runners £31 and Unaffiliated runners £33.
