Equinox24 has grown to be one of the largest 24 hour races in the country and is an amazing weekend of running with the main event being run around the stunning grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire on 18th-20th September. Runners tackle a mixed terrain 10k course and can compete solo or in relay teams of 2-8 people. There is free camping from Friday night for all competitors and spectators with live music, food stalls, trade stalls, bar, bouncy castle, glamping and a great atmosphere. As well as the 24 hour event, there is also a 10k run and a free kids fun run on Saturday.
The event is renowned for its breath-taking location, friendly atmosphere, and awesome medals (and was awarded Silver for Best Endurance Event at this year's Running Awards). If you love running, there is no better way to spend a weekend!
Skechers Performance have been the headline sponsor since the event began and have seen the event grow to having over 1000 runners already signed up for this year. Both male and female solo category winners last year wore the Skechers Ultra shoe which shows how far the brand has come in a small space of time offering innovative and quality throughout its range.
