For the first time at a Lakeland Trails event, the number of women taking part (55%) is greater than the number of men (45%).

The start and finish is at Fitz Park, in Keswick, and the course climbs up the Glenderaterra valley before skirting Lonscale crags and descending by the side of Latrigg.
There will be a real family friendly festival feel to the day, with live music from the Batala Lancaster samba drumming band, and singer/songwriter Pete Lashley. Food stalls, retail stands, MC and commentary, a Kid’s Zone with bouncy castle, face paining, balloon art and children’s Fun Runs (setting off at 12.30pm - with all entry on the day).
Mayor of Keswick, Paul Titley will be presenting the prizes on the day, and there will be a special presentation to Keswick Mountain Rescue, one of the charity partners to benefit financially from the event.
