Join London’s outdoor community at The North Face, 290 Regent Street

Following the launch of its new flagship UK store (HERE), The North Face® has launched an in-shop hub and is inspiring the London community to lead a life of exploration, with a string of regular free events.
Welcoming all abilities, these will include a weekly Tuesday workout session geared towards preparing participants for the outdoors, a monthly Thursday meet aimed at expanding the outdoor expertise and knowledge of local Londoners, as well as a city escape on the last weekend of the month where attendee’s will be able to put their training and expertise into practice away from an urban setting.
The weekly session will be based around an outdoor activity based training programme, meeting, every Tuesday at 290 Regent Street from 6:30pm. Led by adventure fitness instructor, Jon Stratford and ultra-marathon runner, Stuart Crispin, participants will meet at the store before heading to Green Park, for a workout specifically intended to prepare them for their next extreme adventure.
Adventure Fitness instructor Jon Stratford says, “These training sessions are designed to unlock participant’s true potential and help them to achieve their outdoor adventure goals, whether that is ultra-trail running or rock climbing”.
Thursday events will offer a different theme each month, with the inaugural evening beginning this Thursday 12th November, giving attendees the chance to learn how to use a map and compass to navigate their way around mountains, and even get to test their new found skills out with a mini outdoor challenge, in the Navigation Skills Night.
The club’s monthly Saturday outdoor escapes will take the #NeverStopLondon community out of the city to one of the many UK outdoor playgrounds to experience an activity that will have been aided by the training and knowledge they’d gained in the weeks before, whether its climbing, trail running or mountaineering. The first takes place on Saturday 29th November in collaboration with TrailScape, running the trails in and around the Wendover countryside.
