Race news: Surrey Half Marathon - Woking, Surrey, March 13, 2016
Have you ever considered a half marathon? The 2XU Surrey Half Marathon is offering Guildford and Woking parkrun participants the chance to win one of five free places to the 2XU Surrey Half Marathon (or to have their existing entry fee refunded).
Prospective entrants must have taken part in the Guildford and/or Woking parkrun, but not yet participated in an organised half marathon event.

To enter, parkrunners should "Like" the Surrey Half on Facebook, and then comment on the competition announcement post.
The competition launches on 18th January, and closes 25th January at 12 noon.

The Surrey Half is the County's largest closed-road half marathon; it’s on your doorstep, and it’s achievable. You've plenty of time to train for the 13th March 2016 race date.
The run boasts a flat, scenic route with four water stations, local bands, run pacers, and amazing spectator support. You’ll enjoy a fantastic atmosphere running alongside other like-minded people, and can choose to support your choice of charity at the same time!
Hundreds of people will be looking to complete their first half marathon on race day, and so all 'newbies' will be in good company.
