As a global pioneer in fitness innovation, Reebok continues its cutting edge ZPUMP franchise in 2016 by launching the new Reebok ZPUMP 2.0 Fusion. This product is a stylish running shoe that boasts the unique The Pump Technology to offer a variety of custom fits for a locked-in feel.
The Reebok ZPUMP Fusion 2.0 is built upon Reebok’s revolutionary and iconic innovation, The Pump technology, which utilizes Reebok’s proprietary air-filled bladder that uniquely molds to the wearer providing a custom fit for any foot.
The ZPUMP Fusion 2.0 couples The Pump technology with an exciting new feature, the new lightweight and seamless PowerFrame, which helps keep the air-filled bladder closer to the foot for a more locked-in, custom fit.
Scott Daley, General Manager of Running at Reebok says: “At Reebok we are always looking to improve our technology, season to season. After extensive research on the predecessor model, we created a new air chamber and PowerFrame enhancing fit, which we know is so crucial to the running community.”

Unlike a traditional running shoe which is often made up of over 40 individual parts; the Reebok ZPUMP Fusion 2.0 is made up of just three key parts, eliminating rigid components that restrict movement in the foot.  These key parts include:
1. The Pump technology – The revolutionary air-filled bladder is lightweight and fully customizable that pumps up and wraps around the individual shapes and contours of the foot to deliver a custom fit.
2. The PowerFrame – The new PowerFrame, unique to the ZPUMP Fusion 2.0, helps ensure that the air-filled cage remains as close to the foot as possible, locking-in the foot for an unmatched custom fit.
3. Carbonated foam – The carbonated foam midsole provides a soft, lightweight cushioned ride.
When The Pump actuator on the heel of the ZPUMP Fusion 2.0 is pushed, air is channelled through the valve and into the air-filled cage enabling it to fill and clasp around the upper and heel in a way that is unique to each foot. Some people may require three pumps, while others may require ten. To release the air, runners can simply deflate using the release valve.
“Most shoes are made to fit a standard foot – but a standard size foot does not exist. With The Pump technology, you get a shoe that molds to your foot for a fit that’s ideal for running in a variety of conditions. At Reebok we are constantly looking to innovate running footwear to enhance consumer experience. The ZPUMP fit is designed for various runners and used across a range of terrains,” Daley continued.
The ZPUMP Fusion 2.0 has and RRP of £89.99 and will be available from 25th February at Intersport and www.reebok.co.uk.
