If you were to pick somebody to design your perfect mountain ultra, I can’t imagine anybody more qualified than Lizzy Hawker. As 5 times winner of the UTMB, a former National Geographic Adventurer of the Year and inspiration to many with her running adventures and writing, it’s fair to say that any race that Lizzy organised would be one that a lot of ultra runners would love to do. And here’s your chance.
While training for the UTMB round the trails of the Tour de Monte Rosa, Lizzy came up with the idea to share these amazing trails with other runners by staging a race there. After a successful test event in 2015, this year will see the first full running of the event, which can be done either as a stage race over 3 days or as an ultra in 1 day.
