Marathon
The SCOTT Snowdonia Trail Marathon route is one of the most spectacular and challenging in the world. The race starts in Llanberis before heading over Foel Goch and along a route which takes in Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, the beautiful Nant Gwynant, and Pen y Pass. The race finishes with a climb up Snowdon, before descending back to Llanberis and the finish line.

Half Marathon
The half marathon route of the SCOTT Snowdonia Trail Marathon has probably the most incredible views you can find in a trail race. Ascending Snowdon via Maesgwm, the race descends along the Llanberis path before taking in the Padarn country park and Dolbadarn Castle.
Distance: 13.1 miles

Trail 10k
This may be the shortest route, but this is no ordinary 10k! Boasting over 400m of ascent, this is one of the most challenging 10k routes in the country. The route will take you up and out of Llanberis before joining the Llanberis path back into the town. The 10k finishes with a steep ascent through Padarn country park before finishing back in the town centre.
Distance: 10k
Elevation: 409m
There will also be loads to see and do in Llanberis throughout the day, including live entertainment, fresh food and merchandise stands. Thousands more are expected to descend on the area to come along and cheer on the competitors.
Marathon and half marathon distances have been sold out well in advance of the event, but places are still available for the trail 10k. Registration for this closes at midnight on Wednesday 20th July.
