The award winning race, which takes place in Llanberis on Sunday 23rd July, will see competitors from as far away as Russia, China, Venezuela and New Zealand run the incredible trail loop which includes the ascent of Snowdon via Pen y Pass and the PyG track, followed by a descent via the Llanberis path.
The half marathon also ascends Snowdon, but via the Snowdon Ranger path, linking with the marathon route for the descent. The 10k run stays closer to the trails around Llanberis, taking in the lower hills around Snowdon and then through the forested paths around Vivian Quarry.
There are still limited 10k trail races.
The event was named one of the ‘Best New Events’ at the 2016 National Running Awards, and has been shortlisted yet again for 2017 alongside the London Marathon.
