We are pleased to announce the return of the RaceYour Pace Half Marathon at Dorney Lake – a stunning location for a half marathon. This event is all about understanding and experiencing one of the key factors in running a successful race – pace judgement. This pancake-flat, four-lap course is ideal for you to find your correct pace and to smash your PB and is timed to fit in with preparations in the run up to the London Marathon.
PERFORMERS This pace group has a start time of 10:00am. You should have a half marathon target time of 1hr 05 to 1hr 45 mins. There will be pacers for 6, 7 and 8 mins per mile.
IMPROVERS This pace group has a start time of 12:30pm. You should have a half marathon target time of anything over 1hr 45 mins. There will be pacers for 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 mins per mile.

Whether you’re a running veteran or a first time marathon runner, we highly recommend that you build this event into your running calendar to help you stay ahead of the game and really crack race day.
Whichever start you are in, don’t forget to wear a watch and look out for your pacer.
The course has been measured and verified by Hugh Jones, former London Marathon winner, IAAF Olympic course measurer and London Marathon course measurer, so it will have very accurate mile markers in position.
