Now that summer is finally here we thought we'd feature some of the top tees on the market, to keep you cool and smelling sweet.

Odlo Ceramicool Pro top (above left)
This t-shirt is packed with technology to keep you cool and smelling nice. The fabric has ceramic microparticles which help to release the heat. Odlo claim that it can lower your skin temperature by 1 degree centigrade. In addition the material has UPF25 to stop you burning and is anti-bacterial so you won’t stink. It feels soft against your skin and it’s slightly clingy (so beware if you’re a bit conscious of your gut).
inov-8 AT/C short sleeve base layer (above right)
This is a fast-drying and highly breathable top. It’s soft and comfortable, with quite a relaxed fit. It also has a slightly high neck across the back and sides, which makes it a really good tee to wear with a pack.

Montane Sonic Tee (above left)
This is an unbelievably light (67g in women’s) and fast-drying top. It’s great for super-sweaty days and it would be great for fast-packing or multi-days as it dries almost immediately after washing. If you’d like to run shirtless but don’t have the abs to pull that off then this is the top for you as you can hardly tell you’re wearing it.
DhB short sleeve run top (above right)
This is a great tee for a budget option. It’s a nicely fitted, lightweight, no-nonsense run top, which is 100% polyester. It uses Polygiene odour control technology to stop you stinking and it’s great option and a great price.

Salomon Elevate seamless tee (women’s) above left
I thought this t-shirt looked smart enough to wear for work (though that may say more about my wardrobe than anything else). It certainly is a very stylish top. It’s made from a really soft jersey type of material, which is a polyester blend. It’s very comfortable and close-fitting without being clingy.
Salomon Fast Wing HZ Tee (men’s) above right
Bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘technical t-shirt’ this top is packed with features. It’s made of Aero ‘soft-knit’ fabric, with the Salomon Advanced Skin Active Dry technology. There are no seams on the area where you’d wear a pack, to avoid chaffing, and they’ve even made the pack zone from stretch, reinforced fabric so you won’t get the patches of wear and tear like on other tops. Clever stuff. It also has a couple of stuff pockets on the back at the bottom, just right for gels, bars or a small pork pie.
