Fantastic initiative by Merrell and Our Parks to offer free, group exercise classes at parks across London.
The outdoor footwear brand, Merrell, is set to partner with Our Parks, an organisation that hosts free, group exercise classes, led by experienced, fully qualified instructors, at parks across Greater London.
Merrell and Our Parks share an ambition to encourage people to use ‘nature’s gym’ to improve health and fitness levels as well as bring a sense of pleasure and play to outdoor activity.
The joint initiative will aim to increase participation and awareness of the scheme as it expands throughout the London boroughs.
Merrell will be providing Our Parks with access to brand ambassadors, branded apparel and market-leading footwear as well offering PR and marketing support, and utilising the brand’s extensive event experience such as its lead sponsorship of Tough Mudder.
Launched in 2014, Our Parks works with councils and development agencies to offer quality group outdoor exercise programmes for users (parkers) in local parks and community settings for free. With the aim of improving the health outcomes of individuals, users can register on the Our Parks website or download the app to book onto classes that are delivered by over 200 highly qualified coaches.
