If you’re looking for a beautiful trail run this Autumn it would be hard to top the Tweed Valley Trail Run. Starting and finishing in Peebles (23 miles south of Edinburgh) on 7th October, the route takes runners through the stunning Tweed Valley woodland in its autumnal splendour to a very surprising finale!
With a choice of 10k or 20k and routes, which are suitable for those new to trail running and experienced runners looking for a fast course, there’s something here for everybody. The last 600m of each course goes through the Neidpath Railway Tunnel, which is specially illuminated for the runners with lighting effects. It looks like one of the most amazing race finishes we’ve ever seen.
