The organisers of the 2018 Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon, OSB Events, have announced the opening of Individual VIP Corporate Entry for the event on Sunday 4th March.

Only 50 places have been released for this unique opportunity to take part in the ever-popular Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon, which sold all 9,000 general entries within hours of the race going on sale in October.

The 13.1-mile race around beautiful and historic Cambridge has always been a firm fixture in the spring calendar for runners from Cambridgeshire and beyond, and it is expected that the release of 50 further places will be eagerly embraced by corporate runners looking for a very special race experience.

Individual VIP Corporate Entry costs £99 and offers a real on-the-day VIP experience: the fee includes entry into the half marathon as well as separate toilets, bag storage and post-race food in the VIP marquee.

It is without doubt a fantastic chance for individuals to represent their companies and showcase fitness in the workplace. A sport such as running offers numerous physical and mental benefits, and those registering for Individual VIP Corporate Entry can look forward to improved fitness, boosted morale, increased efficiency, better focus and reduced stress as a result of their training. They will also of course feel immense pride in crossing the finish line on race day and knowing that their efforts will be of great inspiration to fellow colleagues.

An added bonus for anyone buying an Individual VIP Corporate Entry for the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon is automatic entry into a competition to win a Corporate Training Package for their company. This will give them the chance to win a superb range of apparel, training and nutrition for up to four people at their place of work.

The one-lap route of the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon gives runners a spectacular whistle-stop tour of the city whilst enjoying the race’s outstanding atmosphere and brilliant spectator support. The race starts and finishes at Victoria Avenue and passes by The Backs and King’s College before taking runners through picturesque Grantchester, Market Square and the Round Church.

The uptake for the seventh edition of the event has been even faster than in previous years and the 2018 Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon is expected to be the biggest to date.
