Reading's official footwear partner and race t-shirt unveiled

After revealing the race bling last week we now bring you more news from Reading Half. 

Race organiser Sweatshop announce Skechers Performance as their official footwear brand partner for the 2018 Sage Reading Half Marathon and Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon events and they do the big unveil on the Reading t-shirt. 
 
With the motto to GO LIKE NEVER BEFORE® Skechers Performance’s goal is to provide the best and most innovative footwear and apparel in the market today and into the future. A range of performance footwear will be showcased at both the 2018 events. Judith Manson, Sweatshop’s Race Director, said: “We are all really looking forward to this year’s events and are delighted to have teamed up with such a prestigious brand as Skechers Performance for the 2018 races. Both Reading and Nottingham have an electric atmosphere with huge local support lining the routes and in the race village and we can’t wait to welcome more runners, seasoned elites and beginners to the start lines in March and September.”
 
Brett Worth, Skechers Performance Marketing Manager, said: “We are extremely excited about the partnership with the Sage Reading Half Marathon and Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon events. The partnership cements our continued commitment to the performance category and is ideally suited for our long-term Skechers Performance strategy. We look forward to seeing runners of all abilities on the start and finish lines.”
 
The official, limited edition, race t-shirt for 2018 Sage Reading Half Marathon has also been revealed. With a choice of blue short sleeve (£12.00) or black long sleeve (£14.00), runners can line up at the start line on Sunday 18 March wearing their new high-performance, moisture management t-shirt with pride. Both styles available in sizes S-XXL for women and S-XL for men.
