If energy return is what you’re after from a shoe then the good people at Brooks have something that might be just up your street.

Claiming to deliver ‘the most energy return of leading performance shoes’, the Brooks Levitate boasts a whole host of cutting-edge shoe tech.
  • It uses DNA AMP to give you midsole cushioning which delivers major springiness.
  • The upper is made of ‘Fit Knit’, which will move with your foot and expand when your feet swell, without rubbing.
  • The arrow-point pattern on the sole is designed to move your foot from heel to toe as quickly as possible, making for a quick transition.
It’s a neutral shoe, weighing in at 318g in the men’s version and 275g in the women’s, and it has an 8mm drop.

Hamish Stewart, Brooks’ VP EMEA Sales, says of the shoe: “We spent years in the lab creating Levitate - a shoe with the most energy return of leading performance running shoes. Since Levitate launched into the energise category last year it has outperformed all our expectations. It’s been our most successful launch in EMEA in the last 10 years and we have big ambitions for the future of energise footwear at Brooks.”

At Run247 we found the cushioning of this shoe really impressive in comparison to other similar shoes, and it gives you a really bouncy feeling when you're running. It also delivered a supremely comfortable fit. We'd recommend it for training, when you need to put in the long miles, and for racing.

The Brooks Levitate is available in a new Black/Ebony/Silver colour combo now. Find out more at www.brooksrunning.com
