Following the successful launch of Tri-Adventure in 2010, Tri-Adventure is pleased to announce an additional two new races to be held in June and July.
The Tri-Experience is a 3.5 hour adventure race, combing off road running, mountain biking and navigation in the Swinley Forest, Berkshire on the 12th June. On the 10th July, the Tri-Challenge will push racers even further through navigating on foot and bike for a total of 5 hours on the North Downs.
The established Trail and Sprint series will run on the 3rd Sunday of February, March and April. The one and two hour format is proving to be increasingly popular with beginners and elite racers alike. Following its success Tri-Adventure is delighted to announce that the Spring Series is being sponsored by Astounding Adventure. They offer excellent mountain biking, single track, navigation and orienteering courses which are ideal for those wishing to improve and sharpen up their adventure racing skills.
The format for all events remains the same; solo entry, with a mass start on foot. Competitors must gather as many checkpoints as possible within the agreed time limit, with one transition to bike in the Sprint, Experience and Challenge events. Competitors are more than welcome to buddy or race as a team.
