High UV Protection Range
With summer sports and warmer weather comes the need for protection from harmful UV rays and the
specialists in multifunctional headwear for outdoor enthusiasts, Buff®, has the perfect solution in their
High UV Protection Range designed to keep the wearer cool and protected.
This spring the Buff® High UV range has grown
with even more designs across High UV
Protection Buff®, Visor Buff®, the reversible
Visor Evo 2 Buff® and Headband Buff.®
These styles offer fun, versatility and between
93% and 98%* UV protection for the head and
neck.
Similar to Original Buff® in that it’s a seamless
tubular garment, High UV Protection Buff® is
made using Coolmax® Extreme which offers
faster wicking and moisture absorption, improved
comfort and at least 95% protection from UV
rays. Simply by twisting, turning or tying it into
a pirate, saharaine, foulard or scarf, a High UV
Protection Buff® can provide sun protection to
the face, head and neck.
High UV Protection Buff® is also available in a special collection called The Angler Series with prints
and patterns designed to appeal to fishermen and anglers. Many use photographs of fish scales such as
Rainbow Trout, Carp and Tarpon to create these striking designs.
Visor Buff® is also made with a seamless tube of Coolmax® Extreme, but with
the addition of a neoprene peak to better shade the eyes in bright sunshine.
Visor Buff® can also be worn in a multitude of ways and blocks 95% of UV
rays while offering excellent comfort and breathability and has the additional
advantage of being able to ‘flip up’ the neoprene peak which makes it perfect
for use when playing summer sports or taking photographs.
Visor Buff® Evo2 is quite unique – ultra-light and fully reversible, with a neoprene
peak and a draw string at the rear means it will perfectly fits the head whilst
offering a greater level of comfort and sun protection than traditional caps. Made
with a double layer of Coolmax® Extreme fabric, it offers excellent moisture
transpiration plus at least 98% * protection from UV rays.
Both High UV Protection Buff® and Visor Buff® Evo2 are also available in junior
(aged 4-16 years) sizes.
Headband Buff® and does exactly what the name suggests, it’s a
headband using a double layer of Coolmax® Extreme making it perfect
for running and adventure sports. Available in 20 stunning designs Headband Buff® makes
the ideal running partner.

Institutes in accordance wit the standard AS/NZS4399:1996 “Sun protective clothing – Evaluation and
Classification”, results ranged from 93% to 98% depending upon fabric used and averaging at least 95%
protection across the range.
